The Shomrim Society of Illinois is a fraternal
organization of Jewish Law Enforcement Officers from Chicago and
surrounding areas. Our organization was founded in 1959.
The objectives of our organization are to
promote the religious spirit as well as fraternal relations, friendship, understanding and cooperation among members.
Regular membership is open to all sworn
law enforcement personnel of the Jewish faith. Associate membership is open to non-sworn individuals involved in the criminal
justice system. Honorary membership is open to any individual who is not involved in Law Enforcement but who wish to support
our efforts.
